Claude Code
Run Claude Code with automatic Codius model access or its existing provider account.
Codius runs Claude Code through the official claude CLI using the Claude Agent SDK.
Use Codius models automatically
Open Host Settings → Providers → Codius models, connect one organization API key, and keep automatic model access enabled. When Codius launches Claude Code, it supplies the connected provider and default model to that process.
No provider block needs to be copied, and Codius does not edit Claude Code's configuration files. An explicit workspace provider or model still takes precedence.
Use an existing provider account
Disable automatic Codius model access or select an explicit workspace provider. Claude Code then uses its existing authentication and normal plan limits.
Getting started
Install the Claude Code CLI on the machine running Codius. Start it once to confirm the command is available. Codius uses that installation when you start a Claude Code agent.
Use Claude Code in the Codius terminal
Claude Code also works great inside the Codius terminal. If you prefer the standard CLI experience, open a terminal in your workspace and run claude as usual.
You can use the terminal from Codius's desktop, web, or mobile app while keeping access to your workspace, git changes, and other Codius tools.
