Clear windows instead of a vague token promise.
Coding-agent workloads vary substantially by model, context length, tool calls, and generated output. Codius tracks those differences while keeping the customer view understandable.
Three usage windows
Five-hour, weekly, and monthly windows are enforced together. The dashboard shows current percentages and exact reset times.
Organization-wide usage
Included usage is pooled across organization members and API keys instead of being split into individual seats.
Model-adjusted consumption
Consumption varies by model and request shape, so the product reports comparable usage percentages instead of a misleading universal token allowance.
Optional extra usage
After included usage is consumed, an organization can explicitly enable prepaid wallet spending and optional auto-reload.

- Do I need a Coding Plan to use Codius?
- No. The Codius desktop app is open source. A Pro or Max plan is only required when you want hosted Codius models. Supported external providers use their own accounts, subscriptions, or API keys.
- Why is usage shown as percentages?
- Different models have different input, output, reasoning, caching, and context costs. Codius normalizes that consumption and shows the percentage remaining in each active window.
- Does unused usage roll over?
- No. Included usage resets with its applicable window. Annual subscriptions are billed yearly but still receive independent monthly entitlement periods.
- What happens after included usage is consumed?
- Requests pause unless extra usage is enabled and the organization wallet has credit. Wallet spending is always opt-in.
- Can I cancel or change plans?
- Billing settings provide plan changes, cancellation, invoices, and payment-method controls. Downgrades normally take effect at the paid period boundary.
